How do I book your services?

Do I need to pay anything upon booking?
To confirm your booking, a deposit is payable. The amount varies according to the services/package. Upon payment of deposit a slot would be reserved for you. A therapist would also be assigned to attend to you.
What happen if I give birth earlier or later?
Once a slot is resolved for you, you will be attended to regardless of when you give birth.
Who do I contact when I give birth?
Please contact the therapist assigned to you as soon as possible after delivery. She will schedule your appointments.
Can I request for a therapist?
Yes, you can request at the time of booking , subject to her availability. If she is available and your location is within her work area, we will normally assign the therapist of your church. However if your location is outside her work area, a per day surcharge is payable.
Can I request for a change of therapist if I don’t like the therapist assigned to me?
All our therapists are qualified and trained to deliver our massage protocols. They are assigned on the basis of your location. You need to have a good reason to request for a change. If you have good reasons and we agree to your request, only one change is allowed.
Refund Policy
What is your refund Policy regarding deposits?
– If a client terminates the contract more than 30 days before EDD, 50% of the deposit will be refunded, subject to a $30 administrative fee.
– No deposit refund is provided for cancellations of Prenatal package.
– No deposit refund is provided if the client is uncontactable for 3 months or more from EDD.
– Deposits are non-refundable once a package has commenced due to reserved time slots.
– For Special Packages:
– No refund for cancellations made 3 days or less before the appointment.
– 50% refund if cancelled 7 days or more before the appointment, less a $30 administrative fee.
What is your refund policy after full payment?
Generally, no full or partial refunds are provided after full payment has been made and session has commenced. This includes situations where the client is uncontactable or unable to complete services for any reason within 3 months of EDD/delivery date.
The company may consider a partial refund under the following circumstances:
– Certified medical reasons (documentation required from a registered medical practitioner).
– Downgrading of a package (refund based on the package price difference, including massage bed rental).
An administrative fee of $50 applies to approved.
Prenatal
When can I start my prenatal session?
Prenatal session normally starts from the 12th week of pregnancy onwards. At this stage you will probably feel muscles tensions and aches due to the change of your body center of gravity as your baby grows. At this point the massage will focus on reducing the aches and pain. After the 24th weeks onwards the focus is on preparing the Mother and baby for childbirth.
How often do I need to do Prenatal massage?
The number of Prenatal sessions rally depends on your needs. Besides ache and pains due to muscles and joints tensions you may have water retention issues as well. Normally we would recommend 3 sessions. The interval between prenatal sessions is between 3-4 weeks. However this may vary according to your needs.
Can I get rashes during/after prenatal massage?
It is not common for you to have rashes after prenatal massage. However you may have PUPPP( Pruritic Urticarial Papules Plaques of Pregnancy). It is a skin condition that causes itchiness, red bumps and patches on the skin. Some pregnant women may experience these symptoms. The cause is unknown. It will normally go away after several days. It is best to consult your medical doctor when you see such symptoms for diagnoses and treatment.
When should I book for my pre natal sessions?
The earlier the better but at least give us 3 days or more notice. Last minute bookings is subject to our Therapists availability.
Why should I do Prenatal massage?
You need prenatal massage during pregnancy to
– To relieve aches and pain
– To improve blood circulation and sleep
– To prepare body for child birth
Our 3 sessions postnatal package will deliver the above benefits. Our Lymphatic massage will help reduce excess water and toxins. Lenggang Perut(Rebozo) is a traditional Malay technique of gently swaying the abdomen cuddling the Baby and Mom to relax and move into the right position for delivery.
Post Natal
When should I book for my Post natal package?
Most clients booked between 3-6 months before their EDD to reserve a slot. You can do your booking once you know when is your EDD.
What do I do when I give birth?
Inform your therapist as soon as you give birth.
When can I start my Post natal session after delivery?
For normal delivery 3- 7 days after. For C – Sect 3-4 weeks after the surgery. You have to wait until your womb/ surgery heals. The healing time varies from person to person. However if you have specific problems like water retention, Breast engorgement etc. we can start earlier to address the specific issues.
Should I start my Post natal massage immediately after birth?
It is not advisable to do so as your womb is still swollen(bengkak). It may cause injury, more pain and longer healing time.
Once I start my Post natal sessions must it be done consecutively?
No, it does not have to be consecutively. Neither should you prolong the sessions for too long. Our guidelines for completion is as follows

What is the best time of the day to do my post massage?
There is no best time of the day to the massage. It is important to have an uninterrupted period of 1.5 hours. This is time out for you to focus on your healing process. During the first few days after delivery try to get a routine with your baby especially feeding and sleeping time. For more details please read our Tips for Clients.
What type of herbs do you used for your massage?
We used only traditional/ natural herbs. This include fractionated coconut oil, lavender oil, rose oil, Castor oil etc. However you may have sensitive skins. If rashes or other reactions appear please wash it immediately and inform your therapist. We may find substitute materials or may not use that herb/oil.
What happens if rashes appears after a massage session?
If you see any rashes appearing, please wash the area where the oil/cream has been used and inform the therapist. Rashes can appear due to a number of reasons.
a . Allergic reaction – although this is not common you may have allergies that you are not aware of. In such a situation. You may need to rest for a couple of days. The oil or cream used will also need to be change. Inform the therapist if you know your allergies. You may also use your own oil that you know you are not allergic to.
b. Hormonal fluctuations – your estragon and progesterone levels can fluctuate drastically during postpartum. These fluctuations can disrupt immune regulation and skin homeostasis, causing increase sensitivity. This can cause postpartum urticaria, commonly known as Hives.
It is advisable to see a doctor if symptoms persists. Most symptoms will subside naturally over time.
What type of belly wrap do you use? Do I have to pay for the belly wrap?
We provide on a complimentary basis the use of the traditional long cloth belly wrap. However if you choose to opt for other types of belly wrap you may have to purchase it yourself.
What is Gurita?
Gurita is a soft cotton cloth that we put around your abdomen before using the belly wrap. This is to prevent itchiness . Thus allowing you to use your belly wrap for longer periods.
What is the purpose of using belly wrap?
Belly wrap helps to heal, firm up and strengthen your abdominal muscles. It also helps to reduce excess water and fat in the abdomen area. In addition the belly wrap helps to ‘shift’ the organs back to its original place after the baby is born. The full benefit of belly wrap can only be experienced if done together with our Postnatal Massage and use of herbal creams. They complement each other.
How long should I use the belly wrap and what is the duration per day?
You should try and use the belly wrap for 6-8 hours per day. As for the number of days it depends on each individual. It may vary between 10 to 30 days.
What is Tarpel, Param and Pilis?
The 3 items has been used for centuries in this region to treat women after childbirth. It is a combination of materials/ herb for different purposes.
Tarpel – is applied around the abdomen before using the belly wrap. Its benefits include reducing stretch mark and improving skin texture, expelling ‘wind’, burning fat around the abdomen area and tightening/ strengthening of the abdominal muscles.
Param – is applied throughout the body except in the breast and abdomen area. Its benefits include improving blood circulation, reduce swelling, prevent entry of ‘wind’ and improving skin texture.
Pilis – is applied on the forehead. Its benefits include preventing and reducing headaches and blurred vision which often affect women after childbirth.
Should I use the powder or cream type of tarpel, param or pilis?
Both are equally effective and used the same ingredients. The disadvantage of the modern powder form is that it tends to leave a mark on your skin, in particular the forehead. It is also quite messy when it dries up.
The cream form is equally effective. It does not leave any marks on your skin and you can use it more than once a day especially for the pilis.
Will the Therapist explain to me the benefits of each treatment in the package?
Our therapist will explain to you the purpose and benefits of each session. Overall our postnatal packages are designed to rejuvenate both your health and beauty. We adopt a holistic approach to help you not only to restore but rejuvenate as well.
Why should I do postnatal massage?
During pregnancy a women undergoes a lot of changes. This include physical , hormonal and emotional changes. The severity of these changes and its impact varies from person to person. How are your therapists selected and trained?
Our therapist goes through a rigorous selection process. Shortlisted applicants first goes through a telephone interview. If they are successful, they will attend a face-to-face meeting with our Chief therapist . Depending on their skills level they will go through classroom training between 2 to 5 days. Subsequently they have to go on the job training (3-10 sessions) with a Senior Therapist before they are assigned clients.
What qualities do you look for in your therapist?
All therapists must have a minimum recognised qualifications in their respective countries( DMA in Australia and WSQ in Singapore). Besides their massage skills we also looked for women who have the passion to care for other women who are doing their sacred duty of pregnancy and childbirth. They must also have a strong EQ and communication skills.
